To heroes and him!
In 1971, Baba Amte took his young son Prakash Amte to a fierce, isolated jungle to work with the Madia Gonds: 37 years later, as the Magsaysay honours the family a second time, SHOMA CHAUDHURY unlocks their inspirational journey.
I took a look at it casually but instead of a pile of work, I kept reading on. This was truly “inspirational”. Rushabh gave me the link and I believe, people like Amte’s are the true heroes! For me, nothing is more inspiring then a dedicated worker or someone following his/her heart. It could be someone-anyone with the pettiest of job or even bike riding for that matter but I admire people who follow their heart with a passion and that passion can be smelled sitting thousand of miles away. I believe it is their passion alone which gives them an air by which you recognize them, their faces show it, their words speak of it.
Everyone talks about legends and well, they are not too less in number! It is great learning about them, reading their bio or autobiographies but its an experience of a lifetime if you have someone like them around you!
I dedicate this post of mine to Rushabh himself, in him I’ve found a hero and I hope would be a legend in his own ways! You’ve been an inspiration!
